Epson's Capture One check scanner is today's scanner or Epson TM-S1000. It's suppose to be the best of TWO worlds, Remote deposit capture (RDC) and Back office Capture (BOC). We have the knowledge and experience for this scanner. Cleaning and calibration will be the order of the day. Not exactly something an end user could do. Although one could start with a cleaning sheet or perhaps a manual hand cleaning in key areas of the scanner, but that's why WE are here.
